Yeah, it was bad. Like a simulacrum of a game rather than a game in itself. Very disappointing since I actually enjoyed the first one and this was supposed to be a reboot, but it has no real spirit of its own. It's pretty clear that the people making it have no passion for actually making games. Pretty much everything is subpar. I'd say it feels like a fan game, but fans would have written a better script and polished it more before release.
