Had my first encounter with the limit of traction after learning how to corner on my #bicycle more confidently. When I was making a left in an intersection, my rear wheel washed out on the cold, wet pavement. (There were a few individual wet leaves here and there, but I don't know if they were involved.) I got the pictured road rash and a few other minor scuffs, and most of my bike's damage was scuffing on the brake levels.
