Twitter just banned outbound links to competing social networks like Mastodon.

This is shameful and disgusting.

Many former and current Twitter users now on Mastodon will be tempted to go clean up their Twitter accounts to remove any Mastodon references.

I'm reminding those people that they really, really shouldn't do that.
