Elden Rings sorcery balance feels weird. Trying out a sorcery run, and weaker spells often feel superior to what's supposed to be upgraded versions. Carian Slicer seems to outperform basically everything else early to mid game despite being one of the cheapest spells to cast and available incredibly early.
