@puniko honestly kinda wild to see that the spammers have deemed fedi a worthy target for their nonsense, and not just the surface level of mastodon.social &co but also things like misskey and pleroma which are fairly small and don't tend to have much reach

considering the kind of people that use fedi aren't generally the kind of people who are prone to buying into generic spam or tolerating it at all
