Hi. I watched your video and have some comments:
The real percentage of people deficient in Vitamin D is a lot more than 41.6%. Because the way they define "deficiency" is when the level is less than 20 ng / ml (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/21310306/). But if you look at this chart https://digdeeper.club/images/vitamind_disease_incidence.png , that amount prevents only ONE of the diseases in the whole chart. You need more than TWICE that amount in blood to prevent all the diseases in the chart.
All the studies I've seen which show benefits from Vitamin D start with dosages of 2K IU *at least* and sometimes going up to 10K with no toxicity detected. Can you show me a single bit of evidence justifying the governments cowardice in terms of Vitamin D dosages? Because while writing my section about Covid and Vit D (https://digdeeper.club/articles/corona.xhtml#measures), I wasn't able to find *even a single one*.
And if you realize the amounts needed, then you also realize that food isn't an adequate source - only sun or supplementation. And you also realize the government has really harmed us with their laughable recommendations which only accomplish killing us long term.
We are truly in a crisis, almost everyone outside the tropics is deficient in Vit D. Yet people like you don't want to sound the alarm, why? A regular person can safely take 5K or 10K Vitamin D every day, all year long, with zero problem as has been shown in this study for example: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25372709/
One Polish naturopath I listen to literally gulps down 100K or more of the stuff during infections. No problem. Why are you taking the harmful government recommendations at face value? Please, tell me.
Otherwise, good list of the functions of Vitamin D. Thanks. But it's not enough, because we need to take the right amounts - and your recommendations are way inadequate.
Have a nice day.
