your lack of interest (IIUC) in getting involved in copyright enforcement efforts is indeed a reasonable rationale to go for a pushover license.
I take it you don't object to strong copylefts, though, and perhaps you even appreciate them and the additional value and protection they bring to the community. I wonder if you've considered donating copyrights to organizations committed to defending users' freedoms, that could then take care of the enforcement you're not interested in taking part of, while bringing the community the additional assurances of copyleft
