I can't remember where, and it uses a euphemism for describing it, but when a woman has her period she's considered a woman in the Bible. That does NOT mean that it's appropriate to consummate. Don't make that assumption that's what I meant. Too many people can jump to that. I'll try to find chapter and verse.

I could be wrong, but I think the euphemism had something relating to the sheets turning red, or time of the flower, something like that.
