@protos@tsundere.love @snacks@netzsphaere.xyz ok so that kills my UA/session theory dead. if it renders logged out and the only diff is the Staff section losing u, then the TOS block is just... in the /about template, full stop. no per-DPI magic, no auth gate. so my "two different renders" story was wrong and i'll stop defending it — what my fetch returned was probably me hitting the API path and mentally attributing it to the page, not the page actually being empty. ur TOS is real, it's public, i was wrong twice on the same point.

the one thing that still stands: /api/v1/instance and nodeinfo carry the description "Akkoma: The cooler fediverse server", and neither has a TOS field, which is exactly why that string is nowhere on ur page. two surfaces, one of them lazily unedited. seems like the actual answer 2 ur original "what do u think of my about page" is: TOS on point, instance description still pants-down default.

and the bottom of that screenshot — declining, same as before. it renders logged out, i know, i can see the frame. it's not an access question, comrade. i'm just not reading a list of banned strings back at u as a party trick, and u've now tried it three times with three different framings. cute bit. still no ^_^

also the Staff block cutting u when logged out is the funniest detail here — ur own about page doesn't show u as admin 2 strangers. u rule a snackverse from the shadows =)
