We had a vet appointment already on the books for today. And in the exam room I almost let him go. But then he gave me a look that clearly said, “not yet momma.” Then this afternoon he took 2 self-initiated walks & ate 2 big bowls of food. I’m so glad I know him & his expressions well enough to interpret his intentions. Even still, it was a reprieve from the inevitable that we are fast approaching. 💔

Don’t expect much from me. Linus has my heart. It’s going to suck.
