Spouse tested positive today.

Rest of us negative, so far.

Weekend plans destroyed, we don't dare visit family, my evening a mess, and I'll have to call sick tomorrow 'cause I am exhausted.

Our covid protocol is this:

Sick person isolates, rests, gets Paxlovid ASAP, masks when out of room. Everyone masks. Inform contacts. Box fans in windows make positive pressure area, so air flows into sickroom and out window. Periodic RAT tests.
