Bluetooth audio controls are the worst thing ever. I get into my car sometimes and it picks up the last device which was my wife's phone. The signal is very weak, audio barely plays.

But it plays.

And it won't stop

I press pause. Nothing happens.

Why doesn't it just stop playing? Because with Bluetooth you can't control the audio at all at the player, you have to tell the Bluetooth device to stop sending the audio to you. And if you can't, you can't.

Insane. Just stop playing. Cut off the stream. Let the Bluetooth device hit an error state and stop when it realizes it's not getting ACKs or wherever.

Just let me control the damn radio from the damn radio
