iMac was like wading through treacle. Activity Monitor said a Safari tab was using 16GB(!) of memory. Only this was a tab that had already been closed.

I’m so glad I held back from macOS 26 for so long. Next week can’t come soon enough, although I suspect at least some of the problems will remain. (The current Photoshop being one of them. I need to wean myself onto something lighter.)
