    I still have the same VCR I've had since 1998 while I was in the Navy. I still have the remote control for that VCR. You're not getting me to get rid of my VCR even in death even though it's been well over 25 years since I turned it on.

    Likewise, the TV I haven't powered on in over 13 years still has a cathode ray tube sticking out the back of it.

      Attached: 1 image They disinvented the VCR. You might think that the reason we don't have VCRs anymore is because VCRs were supplanted by DVDs, PVRs and streaming, but that's not the case. They had it in for the VCR from the very start, and they never stopped trying to kill it.
