1. the news hates my people and spreads lies in order to hurt us
2. the news therefore lies when it says anything I don't like
3. when the news says something I do like, that only means it was forced to say at least that much. Probably the truth is even more to my liking, but is being suppressed!

Black people are not saying that the news is like a demon in a fairy tale that is unable to speak a truth, but that the news hates black people and distorts its reporting in ways unfavorable to black people. Since this is the exact position of white people (with subjects replaced), it should be easy to understand.
