Today: Baltic Open VUSHF 2026 Contest

(This was once a popular contest. Not so much any more. But in recent years it's building up some momentum again.)

· 15:00 UTC – 20:59 UTC
· 144/432/1296 simultaneously
· 1 QSO per band, regardless of mode
· True old school modes FM/SSB/CW only.
· RS(T) + serial + locator (full 6 digit, ie. KP00AA)
· No multipliers

If the summer had gone as planned, I’d be abroad right now. But things turned out differently. However, I don’t have time to set up a station in the field. I’ll be QRV on 2m, and FM only. That significantly limits the range of possible contacts, but 200–300 km should always be possible. So: Stations from OH, SM, YL, LY, try to pick up my call.

Oh, and since anyone can work anyone — not just the Baltic stations — you can also submit your log if you’ve only worked someone else. That’s actually appreciated.
