one somewhat sneaky reason AI cannot succeed in some jobs is that these jobs are completely redundant. you can't automate something ephemeral. you don't need AI when you don't have any problems worth solving. you actually need to do stuff by hand lest your superior (who also doesn't do anything) arrives at the idea that you are lazy.

I don't know what percentage of jobs that actually applies to, but I've seen tons of those in German and LU companies, especially in public sector.
