Chara Aznable (they/them) of Pnictogen#Technology journalism must be hyperbolically corrupt, because the fatal mixture of obsession with money and obsession with the supposedly magical powers of #tech is incredibly corrosive to ethics, like mixing nitric and hydrochloric acids in order to get a mixed acid (aqua regia, the queen of aqueous acids) capable of dissolving just about anything.
There's truth in what William Gibson (q.v. @GreatDismal) said about the super-rich no longer being remotely human. Quite other forces are at work, which I propose to analyse here.
