a year ago my car broke down 250 miles from my house... timing belt fell off. Thankfully a friend drove that 250 miles to pick me up and tow back home. He only asked for the gas money.

It was a year, this christmas time off, that I finally had time to design and build the pullies out of steel and make them at work. I didn't want to replace them with plastic.

Just poured myself a mixed drink, hopefully you get your car things fixed relatively soon.
