As someone who spends an unhealthy amount of time reading news and politics and xwitter and psuedo-political drama slop, I can confidently say that politics across the west has become so gameified and trivialised and dramatised that i really dont have any desire to argue or debate with anyone other than the libtards in my circle of friends and family.

They are the only people I feel I can confidently say are arguing from their honest views and therefore worthwhile engaging with, even when they're obviously wrong. Even when they're doing the "pretending not to understand" thing, which i personally love because its usually a perfect set up to make them look foolish.

Some days the fake and gayness of it all makes me switch to my work accounts and just listen to video essays, reviews and lore deep dives for video games I'll never play and media i'll never consume. Its not a blackpill, its just total partisan fatigue.
