I read the full chapter in KJV (because it's habit) but my initial thoughts were the same.

You yourself cannot fully understand the methods or reasons for why God ordains what he wills.

Specifically in verse 7 "But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:"

To understand God you would have to understand existence before it even was, and that's genuinely an insane thing to think about or comprehend. It's no cap pointless.

Anyways moving onto the verse the Natural man is without God's spirit because he created, God however is not created he is uncreated. The created trying to comprehend the uncreated is something that can't be done.

If any of that doesn't make sense, I don't know man go comprehend eternity infinity and maybe negative nothing and maybe it will make better sense. I'm kind of hungry so I'm gonna get a pizza bye now.
