    "Most of them [gigs] were endured rather than enjoyed, and I secretly think it’s only the most extroverted (or simply least self-conscious) among us who actually feel otherwise."

    This is one of most bizarre and non-sensical pieces I've read in some time.

    It's fine if you don't like going to gigs, but you don't need to tell us about it, as if you've discovered some amazing truth. Nobody cares.

    As to the extrovert claim, I'm as introverted as they come, and gigs and live music are my favourite thing in the world.
