Great bloggery, especially with all the references. (Although I'm a bit puzzled that the LOC is not productivity reference is from 2019 and not from, say, 1963.)
There's one statement that I frown upon:
"Early adopters differ from late adopters and non-adopters in ways that directly predict productivity: they are more motivated to experiment, more comfortable with new tooling, and more likely to already be high performers."
It's just a personal nitpick, as I do acknowledge the fact that we're looking at different populations.
