EU is going to allow:

- "limited" GMO without declaration on the products, only the seeds have to be labeled.

- areas where GMO are grown don't have to be declared anymore

- GMO seeds can be patented

this will kill (on purpose, i'm sure) every heirloom seed growing operation. you can't make sure your seeds aren't contaminated, so every seed potentially is patented.
