@strypey i highly doubt any politician understands what they are even calling AI, let alone is qualified to begin regulating it in a meaningful way. so far what we've seen is regulations and "alignment" arguments just amounting to "protect the control grid/brand" more than "rework the economy around exponentially increasing job loss" (or, well, the xrisks)
