    Viele Regierungen setzen auf CO₂-Entnahme, doch die Zusagen reichen nicht aus: „Bis 2035 haben Länder ca. 2,7 Mrd. t CO₂‑Entnahme zugesagt, bis 2050 ca. 3,6 Mrd. t“, so PIK-Forscher William Lamb. Die Erwärmung auf 1,5°C zu senken, würde deutlich mehr erfordern.

      CO₂ wieder aus der Luft holen, um Schäden fürs Klima zu verringern? Klingt praktisch, ist aber sehr aufwendig. Bislang liegen Welten zwischen Plänen, Realität und dem, was nötig wäre.
