@RecDiffs @hotdogsladies you are of course welcome to save it for prison, but I am obliged to mention the RTÉ version of Ulysses. Recorded in 1982 for the centenary of Joyce’s birth, it’s an unabridged, full-cast recording of the book with many subtle sound design elements. It’s amazing. It brings out the auditory and musical elements of the book and it makes a lot of the techniques—like stream of consciousness—immediately accessible. You can get it as a podcast. https://www.rte.ie/radio/podcasts/series/32198-ulysses/
