You need to go directly to the source and yell at the source (the vendors), otherwise nothing is going to change because they're the outsize force on the Committee and they don't take it seriously when I tell them something is wrong. I'm not considered a serious representation of C people and I'm not a real C vendor, so you have to yell at the vendors directly in their bug trackers or they'll just ignore me, like they always do when I bring up handling these kind of so-called "niche" use cases.
