I rather think we already have achieved it, and we are now progressing to the mythical singularity.

But I think that as is discussed, nobody has actually defined it. Think about this though: we haven’t thought through what human *general* intelligence is.

It’s not some sort of superior soooopergenius we want to reproduce electronically. General intelligence is the bland average of what a human capable of basic survival knows.
