HSV-1 Prevalence: 50.9% of women aged 14–49 have HSV-1 (often oral herpes, though it can cause genital infections), compared to 45.2% of men.
Disparities: Infection rates are significantly higher among non-Hispanic Black women (34.6% for HSV-2) compared to other racial and ethnic groups.
