Seems like a good day to re-up this reminder: “Google’s mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful.”
Which information? The world’s. Are we part of the world? Yes. Do they need to access and use all our info to fulfill their mission? Obviously. Don’t we get access and use too? Sure, but there’s no mention in the mission of cost or presentation. If indexing is a process, AI is ultra processed.
