“WCAG must be backwards compatible because it is used in regulation” is a bullshit claim. The new EN 301549 which is based on WCAG changes stuff and breaks backwards compatibility.
It’s double ridiculous because instead of changing a few things breaking backwards compatibility and have people adapt every year, WCAG 3 breaks everything and everyone has to relearn, and yet somehow that is supposed to be adapted really quickly.
