I wrote my first async generator in Typescript today. Never really had a use case for one before.

The alternative would have been using a higher order function which is fine but sometimes that still leads to more mingling of concerns that I'd like.

Here the generator let me keep code to fetch data cleanly separate from code for submitting a job to process that data.

My new service is highly async, mostly I/O bound so used an async generator here specifically.
