Nicht sicher, ob die Rede von Charles III vor dem US Kongress insgesamt gut ankommen wird.

In den Ländern der globalen Mehrheiten gibt es einen großen Fundus an Witzen und Bonmots ("barbed remarks") über europäische "Interessen"-Politik. Das ist im Norden kaum bekannt. z.B.:

"Why does the sun not set on the British Empire? Because even God couldn’t trust the English in the dark"

Das wird im Norden nicht verstanden.
