If it ever threatened to do so, billionaires would kill it in the creche. Billionaires exist because of inequity and inequality. They're allowed their impunity because of the power they hold over other people and the power their money gives.

Any social change which would benefit non-billionaires is opposed by billionaires. Why would AI be different?
