I took this photo on a hike at Minoo falls, close to Osaka. specifically this statue was part of temple grounds which we found close to the beginning of the trail. it was a sunny day. the statue is surrounded by greenery. it was very quiet. us tourists were probably the loudest thing in the area. well I saw that in some of the faces of the local people.
