@ami_angelwings maybe a hot take but: Angel is a toxic love interest for Buffy in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. They do a lot to make the audience want to find it romantic but let’s be clear:
1) They start dating when he is, in a sense, an old man (hundreds of years old), and Buffy is literally a child (like 16 I think?).
2) in a flashback, it’s revealed that he “fell in love” or started crushing her when he stalks her and sees her become the slayer at like 14 …so even creepier
3) He also puts her on a pedestal in a way that’s kind of toxic?

Despite this…ugh, I still enjoy it on screen if I just don’t think about it. 😅
