I think childhood indoctrination often requires a transition period where the child is supposed to come to accept that some of the "beliefs" they were taught are not sincere, & there will ALWAYS be leakage at that point.

They teach children lies about why they live & act the way they do, & just expect the kids to somehow forget all the "values" they were told were at the core of everything.
