#WritersCoffeeClub 14/3 Do you think readers want new experiences in structure or narrative, or do they prefer what's familiar?

I will admit to becoming quite disillusioned. My books are different than the run-of-the-mill stuff, and they do NOT sell well.

So I'm going to assume that the majority of readers prefer reading something that's familiar. In German, we say "same thing in green".

I prefer writing something a little different, but that will always be hard to market.
