"Lay back and think of England" used to be a saying because women *had* to have sex with their husbands, it wasn't a choice. Without children they would get divorced on grounds of infertility and if she wasn't infertile that was a big nono. The husband could effectively coerce her into having sex.
The same is true of all arranged marriages really.
Women are not the objects, they are the subjects. They are not the same as men on a level deeper then having different genitals. They are meant to be subjected by men. Men have conquered women for millenia.
It is how it is. There's no reason to get upset about it. Men don't have to physically discipline their women, or arrange marriages with them, but this is how it is or was for a long time.
