    S.F. tenant detained by ICE may automatically lose eviction hearing 

    A San Francisco tenant from Russia is set to lose his eviction case after being detained by ICE and unable to appear in court. Housing advocates say his absence — caused by federal immigration custody — effectively denies him due process and could leave him homeless if he is released.
