Just saw a screenshot on a toot about whats going on with #fediBlock and it translates a lot what's going on and what I understand of all this:

• There's no due process in a heresy trial: you are guilty just by being accused.

There's no need for proof, evidence, arguments after the accusation has been made, since they're after the dogma against the heresy. There's no space for contradiction or for dialogue in this process.
