@patrickcmiller There are already numerous sources of vulnerability information, each using different identifiers, some with CVE IDs, others without, and a variety of formats such as CSAF, GHSA, and the CVE record format, among many others. Moreover, many national vulnerability databases exist across different regions.
GCVE (and Vulnerability-Lookup) provide practical ways to support correlation and cross-referencing, even in an already fragmented world.
