- Embed this noticeThis is just my uneducated opinion but when it was just one thing like GPUs, the broader market could adjust, like we've all figured out ways to squeeze as much out of older/lesser GPUs (except for AAA studios but lmao I guess)
This newer trend of datacenters gobbling up literally every resource they can get their hands on is different. Memory is through the roof, storage is probably next, retail market CPUs are probably on their way out once DCs get off the Nvidia teat for mass compute and manufacturers start retooling for that instead of fungible amd64 chips
