AI does well is creating as much propaganda and "what even is true anymore?" kind of photos and videos as the worst actors in the world want to produce. Autocrats and nazis and all the worst people can easily use them to pump out billions of comments and websites and anything they want to sway people's opinions. And the rest it's used for is to generate confident sounding "answers" with lots of errors and no sources
