Krzysztof Sakrejda@inthehands a narrow point: nothing says the national guard have to deploy with weapons. Plenty of what they do in emergencies doesn't involve carrying weapons. They are probably better off without weapons if they're stationed at schools. They would be there to exercise legitimate authority not state sanctioned violence.
