@RedoubtAFA Just so you know, there's an excellent way to link to anything on Twitter without having to link to Twitter, whether it's for privacy, econo-political or any other reason: nitter.
One just takes the URL of the tweet/profile one wants to link to and replaces "twitter.com" with "nitter.net" in the address,
like for example https://nitter.net/RedoubtAFA/status/1597317831787704322 this.
Nitter is open-source, free of cost/profit, etc.
You can even run your own nitter, if you want to, but don't have to, just as with Mastodon. ;-)
There is also nitter-integration in the Mastodon(and more)-client Fedilab on Android, so you can create your own tab in it with a list of Twitter-accounts you want to read-only "follow" without increasing followers-count, ad-revenue, tracking, etc.
