I do wanna say a thing about CLAs.

Implementing one does technically not prevent anyone from using the software in freedom, so it's fine.

However it does make a lot of developers, including me, not want to contribute their patches upstream.

So that means if you implement a CLA you're basically shooting yourself in the foot because you will be missing out of potential contributors.
