tyil@arh@blackstar.cafe I don't have a printer anymore that I could test it with, sadly. When I did, I used cups on Debian and Gentoo, and on both it worked like a charm on both distros. I would expect it hasn't gotten any worse, but it may depend on the kind/brand of printer you got perhaps? I always got relatively cheap second-hand printers, so relatively old machines.
