Stephen Dioxide :TwinPines:@evan I have a half-baked idea about platform co-ops being run on Mastodon servers (with selective contact with the rest of the Fediverse). Since they rarely if ever meet in person, having internal social media owned and operated by the co-op itself could be a next-best scenario to F2F interactions. And unless I'm mistaken, a certain degree of business logic could be integrated by means of ActivityPub extensions. Correct me if I'm wrong about that.
